Scenic Season Card

I just had to share this BEAUTIFUL and EASY Christmas card. It uses the Scenic Season stamp set. I used Night of Navy ink and cardstock. For the moon, I punched out a 1" circle on a post-it note and after I had stamped the scene on the whisper white paper, I stuck the circle over the bird. Then I sponged Night of Navy ink all over and when finished, I pulled off the circle and there you have the moon. Super Easy! We made this last week at my second Stamp-A-Stack this year. Everybody loved it. So far....I have sold 4 complete sets for people to make this card. If you want to make it, I will be glad to order the supplies you need!!

Wedding Relief

I just had to share a big relief that was finished today. As most of you know, my daughter is getting married on December 18th. We have been working to get Handmade Shower invitations and Wedding Invitations (that aren't handmade) mailed this week. We completed all the Shower invitations and got them in the mail on Wednesday and I went to the post office today and mailed all of the Wedding Invitations!! The 15th was our deadline to get them mailed so we will have time to get response cards back...and we did it!!

I will post a picture of the cute Wedding shower invitation. Of course everything is Christmas theme so they look like a Christmas present. I will also post some cute things we made for favors and for the bird seed. Keep looking and you will see those goodies!!

Another Dasher Stamp Card

Here is the Dasher Stamp again with totally different colors. This time I embossed Dasher in Gold and used Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I embossed the Old Olive cardstock with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I used the tearing technique on the Cherry Cobbler and white. See how versatile this one stamp can be??

Dasher Stamp Set

I made four Christmas cards this afternoon. I didn't get the Dasher Stamp last year but I decided to this year. Here is one of the cards I made using Dasher. I embossed Dasher using Silver embossing powder on Bashful Blue cardstock. The card is using Bashful Blue also. I took some Whisper White paper and embossed it using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Then I used the Merry Christmas stamp in the Teeny Tiny Wishes and embossed that in Silver also. I thought this was a very elegent but easy card.

New Stampin Up Organization Tools

I am so excited. When we moved into our house last year, we took part of our bonus room and fixed me some space to do my Stamping. We put in some cabinets with a counter top to work on and store Stampin Up stuff in. Well, my wonderful husband bought me an Embellishment Center for my birthday this week. He hung it for me this morning. I especially love the two rows to put my ribbon on for easy access. Here is a picture of that:
After he hung that, he did a search for Stampin Organization on the computer and started searching for a better way for me to store my paper. I just used a plastic holder with three drawers to put the paper in. He got some ideas so we went shopping to some consignment stores. Well check out this neat cabinet we bought that holds my paper perfectly:

I am going to put labels of each color over those numbers. But it worked out perfectly, four rows and we have four color families. Finally, he found this neat way to hold my punches. We went and bought some curtain rods and put on the outside of my cabinet and it holds the punches perfectly.
I just had to share all my new organization tools I got today!! I love my husband for helping and supporting me so much!!

Ornament Punch Christmas Card

As you can see, I am trying to get ready for my Christmas Stamp-A-Stacks that I am going to be hosting and I am already getting in the Christmas spirit. I better get busy on my Christmas cards since Amy's wedding is Dec. 18th.....the closer it gets....the busier I will get.

I actually made this card last year but I still love it. I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set and stamped it in Old Olive. Then I punched out ornaments three different ways. One was just using a piece of designer series paper, one was putting texture on my cardstock using the big shot, and one was stamped with Delightful Decorations (with a little glitter on it). Then I just took some whisper white ribbon to look like the ornaments are hanging. Such an easy but elegant looking card!!
Need supplies to start making your Christmas cards....just contact me to place your order!!

PinWheel Card

Check out this super cute and super easy card!! I got this design off of Barb Mullikin's website. I used Bermuda Paper cardstock with the Thoroughly Modern designer series paper. Then I used some Rose Red ribbon and stamped my greeting in Rose Red. I can't wait to get my Christmas designer series paper and make some cute Christmas cards with this pattern. Once I make some with some different colors, I will post them! Hope you enjoy!!

Two Step Owl Punch

Ijust love this new Two Step Owl Punch. It can be used for many different types of cards. I made my first card with it today. Isn't it so cute??? I used the Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie cardstock along with Sweet & Sour Specialty Paper. Notice the same pattern on the outside of the card matches the owl's dress! I actually put the owl on the inside of the card and used the scallop circle punch so you can see the owl through the front of the card! I have the outside and inside of the card for you to see the whole project!

Angel Christmas Card

Here is another idea using the Ornament Punch from Stampin Up. I made a card before that created a flower out of the Ornament Punch (picture on my blog). Today, I designed a Christmas Card that created an angel out of the Ornament Punch. I got the idea from my mom (a very crafty person) and she had seen it on another blog.

The first thing I did was gold embossed some vellum cardstock and punched out two of the ornaments. Then I sent some Old Olive cardstock through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and then punch out another ornament. I used circle punches for the face and hair. I had to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth.....so don't laugh too hard!

I took Real Red cardstock and stamped gold snowflakes on it as a background! And of course used my Modern Label punch (one of my favorites) to punch out Merry Christmas.

Let me know what you think of this Christmas card! I am thinking of ideas for my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack!!!

Friends Never Fade Stamp Set

I decided to play with one of the new stamp sets....Friends Never Fade. I made a couple of cute cards using this stamp set. I will share one of them today but you have to check back tomorrow to see the other one. The first one I made was using Summer Sun (retired) and Rose Red. I stamped the Friends are Flowers stamp with Rose Red and then embossed using the embossing glitter. It doesn't show up real good in the picture but in person it shows up real good. Then I used the Big Shot to cut out some Flower Burst. I also used the Eyelet Border punch on the designer series paper! I ended up like the color combination but wait until you see the same stamp set with different colors tomorrow......

All you need is a piece of 6 x 3 designer series paper and a piece of ribbon. We are going to make these at our workshop on July 24th. You can put some little chocolates in here as favors if you would like and pick designer series paper to match your theme. So easy!!!

Ornament Punch Flower

I just had to post a picture of this cool card I made using the Ornament Punch that is available in the 2010-2011 New Idea Book & Catalog. The flower is made using 5 of the ornament punches in white paper and I sponged the sides with Apricot Appeal. The green leaves are 2 ornament punches. I must admit I didn't come up with this by myself.....I got it off another fellow demonstrators website.....Connie Babbert. The stem at the bottom was punched out using the Two Step Bird Punch. I just thought this was so neat and had to give it a try myself. Now I can use the Ornament Punch throughout the year and not just at Christmas!!
